Online CEU Resources for Midwives
Birth Emergency Skills Training
Midwives attending childbirth in homes and birth centers seldom encounter emergencies, but when crisis occurs, lives hang in the balance. It can be difficult to remain proficient in skills seldom practiced, yet in an emergency, good outcomes hinge on the expertise of the provider. Birth Emergency Skills Training is the interface between the world of midwifery and the world of medicine. It carries the reader from the initial steps of intervention though definitive care, balancing a friendly tone and visual appeal with authoritative and clinically useful information.
Online CEU opportunities based out of California; approved from the CA and FL boards of nursing.
Continuing Education for Midwives (by Laurie Fremgen)
